MICHIGAN CITY 4TH ANNUAL KIDDIE PARADE 

Hosted by the Michigan City Police Department

Since 1955, the Michigan City Police Department has hosted this mid-year Christmas celebration! The parade travels north from 7th Street down to Franklin Square to 4th Street, ending at the library.

“Disney on Parade” is this year’s theme. Use your imagination and create a float, or costume and have some fun. The parade route will begin at 2:00 with Judging at 1:00 at 7th and Franklin. It is open to all children 0-12 years old!

After the parade, we will be serving Dairy Queen Ice Cream Treats to all the participants.

Registration begins at 1:00pm at Healthlinc located at 7th and Franklin St. A “healthy snack” will be given to all participants. Judging will begin at 1:15pm through 1:45pm. At 1:45pm we begin the line-up where the parade will begin at 2:00pm ad run north on Franklin St. at the Michigan City Library. Franklin St. will be closed to traffic so we are asking that all participants park in the Laporte County Courthouse Parking Lot an at the Horizon Bank Parking Lot located at 5th & Pine St. and walk to Healthlinc to register.
